Seeking New Trustees for the Board of Unseen Heroes
With the exciting rebranding of “Camp Unity” to “Unseen Heroes,” we are thrilled to announce our search for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our newly expanded Board of Trustees. As we grow and enhance our programme for Young Carers, we seek individuals who are committed to our vision and can bring valuable expertise to our team.

Enthusiastic and Passionate: Deeply committed to our programme for Young Carers.

Supportive of Our Unique Approach: Embracing our holistic healing methods as an alternative to traditional mental health and clinical services.

Innovative thinkers: Possessing strong backgrounds in the following areas and personal qualities that make them ideal for our Board.
Volunteer position:
This is a volunteer role requiring an average commitment of 10 hours per month. As a working board, you will play a crucial role in supporting our expansion efforts.

1. Fundraising Innovation & Strategy

Engaging donors and/or preparation of RFPs and grant applications.
2. Communications & Marketing

Builds media relationships, networking, advocacy, and/or social media expertise in boosting an online presence.
3. Strategic Partnerships and Alliances
-
Identifies and fosters strategic partnerships with other organizations, businesses, and stakeholders to advance Unseen Heroes' mission.

Manages relationships with key partners and ensures collaborative efforts are productive and aligned with organizational goals.
4. Social Accreditation Requirements

Expertise in human resources, policies and procedures, & risk management.
5. Innovation and Technology
-
Expertise in IT, new technologies and digital solutions.
-
Builds and maintains partnerships with tech companies to support and advance Unseen Heroes' technologies and innovation needs.
6. Research and Outcomes
Adding strengths to our Board of Trustees in these 5 domains will significantly help Unseen Heroes address diverse aspects of its operations and expand its influence and effectiveness in supporting young carers.

Strong organisational, leadership and/or business capabilities.

Experience in community engagement or a similar field.
Requirements:

Attend at least one camp within the first year to gain an understanding of the programme.

Participate in board meetings.

Willingness to work hard
